Assembly of good Christians

January, 2009 My name is Brad Hoffstetter. I or one of my colleagues are Media Affairs officers of the Assembly of good Christians also known in some places as the General Conference Cathar Church. You can confirm my bona fides by entering my name at www.cathar.net. The Assembly of good Christians (AGC) also known in some places as the General Conference Cathar Church. The AGC is a progressive spiritual community with a pacifistic tradition similar to, but preceding the Amish, Anabaptist, Mennonite and Quakers. Favoring animal rights, separation of church and state, and the right to die while opposing the death penalty, most adherents are vegans or vegetarians. An eco-friendly low technology house church movement, members practice simple living, many without cars or electricity. The AGC is also one of the few religious bodies that rejects tax exempt status, tithes, and does not proselytize or recruit individuals. A small website has been maintained since 1995.
